ROLdoûr Measuring Guide for inside Shower Room / WC

Ensure a perfect fit to overlap the opening recess inside the Shower Room / WC :

To customise your ROLdoûr, provide the total height and width of the outside frame. Accurate measurements are crucial for a seamless fit.

Step-by-Step Measuring Instructions:

Identify the Overlapping Area Inside:

Determine where the ROLdoûr will be installed. Ensure the area is suitable for overlapping fitting with a flat surface to secure the frame, maintaining structural integrity.

Measure the Width (Max 1000mm Wide):

Measure the recess opening width at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the largest measurement and add 60mm for the cartridge width and 15mm for the door stop width to conceal the frame inside from outside view.

Choice of Inside Recess Width:

Hide Cartridge & Door Stop from outside view: Add 75mm (60mm for the cartridge + 15mm for the door stop) to hide the frame sides and leave the handle to slide at the opening area.

Hide Cartridge, Handle & Stop End Frame from outside view: Add 120mm (60mm for the cartridge + 45mm for the handle + 15mm for the stop end frame) to slide the handle away from the opening area inside.

Note: The doorstop must not be fixed more than 15mm past your opening recess inside the shower room to avoid losing the handle channel from the outside.

Measure the Height (Max 2000mm Tall):

Measure from the top of the recess to the base, taking measurements on both sides and in the center. Use the largest measurement and add 30mm for the top track and 30mm for the bottom track, or measure from just below the ceiling/roof to the shower tray/floor or 5mm above the floor or tray (explained below).

Installation Options to overlap the opening recess:

Option 1: Mounted on the Shower Tray Inside

Keeps the track level with the tray for a sleek look.

Integrates a drainage hole in the track.

Considerations: Ensure precise drainage hole placement to avoid water buildup.

Option 2: Mounted 5mm off the Shower Tray

Elevates the frame 5mm above the tray for better drainage.

Advantages: Faster drainage, easier cleaning, and enhanced water sealing.

Considerations: Requires careful alignment.

Installation Tips:

For optimal performance and ease of cleaning, mounting the frame 5mm off the tray is preferred. This enhances drainage efficiency and minimises maintenance by allowing better access beneath the frame.
